Please read these terms carefully before using the Podcast Annotator app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to the terms below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
3. Your Content & URLs
The app allows you to enter URLs to podcast episodes and create voice recordings and notes. You are solely responsible for the URLs you enter and the content you create, and you warrant that you have the legal right to access, play, and annotate such content. The app does not store or distribute third-party podcast episodes; your device connects directly to the source you choose.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others; (c) interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app beyond what is permitted by law.
5. Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, source code, trademarks, and icons, is our property and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the app to you. Content you create (recordings, notes) remains yours.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or be compatible with every device and podcast source.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including loss of data stored on your device. You should back up any important content yourself.
8. Changes & Termination
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. We may discontinue the app or certain features at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
